Mumbai: The increasing number of corona patients in Maharashtra including Mumbai has increased the tension of the government. In such a situation, the government is preparing to impose a strict lockdown. However, Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said that the lockdown will not be imposed immediately. He said that the government was closely monitoring the situation in the state. But if the situation is out of control then automatically the lockdown will be imposed.
Rajesh Tope said that Maharashtra will go under auto mode if the state starts consuming 700 metric tonnes of oxygen. Tope said that the number of patients is increasing rapidly, so the rules will have to be strictly followed. The first priority of the government is to prevent infection, so that the number of patients does not increase.

The population of Mumbai city is very high. Here corona infection can spread rapidly. If the number of patients increases in the next few days, then we may have to decide on imposing a lockdown for a few days. I urge Mumbaikars to wear masks, get vaccinated and follow the rules.
-Aslam Shaikh, Guardian Minister, City of Mumbai
If there is a third wave of corona in the country, then BJP will be responsible for it. Corona cases are increasing rapidly in the country, but the focus of the BJP government at the Center is only on the assembly elections to be held in five states. BJP is not concerned about the lives of the people of the country.
