Aurangabad : A Kranti Chowk in the main roads of the city to Gopal Tea This route will be transformed soon. Along with beautification of the road, better parking arrangements will be made for vehicles by Aurangabad Smart City Development Corporation Limited.
Under the Streets for People of Smart City Mission, these four roads will be beautified from Kranti Chowk to Gopal T, Paithan Gate to Gulmandi, Canat Complex and MGM-Priyadarshini Udyan. The work of Kranti Chowk to Gopal Tea House road will be started soon. Smart City Deputy Chief Executive Officer Pushkal Shivam, Assistant Project Administrator Sneha Nair, Sneha Bakshi, Project Associate Kiran Aade as well as ITDP (Institute for Transportation and Development Policy) officers Pranjal Kulkarni and Siddharth Godbole visited this route. The route has been designed by ITDP, an international body working with the central government as well.

The presentation of this design was presented to the MLA of this area, Sanjay Sirsath. Some changes have been made on the suggestions and information given by him. A footpath will be prepared for the pedestrians on this road. Along with this, tree plantation, parking arrangements, posture arrangements will be done. Guidance boards will also be installed. This road is being prepared keeping in mind the needs of the citizens. Along with this, beautification of this road will also be done. Citizens will find a new place for a walk after the work is done. This design has been prepared keeping in mind the assurance given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to create clean air and clean environment in the Council of Cop 26, Glasgow. Pushkal Shivam, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Smart City, claimed this to be an important step in achieving the net zero target. He said that recently the State Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray had encouraged him to take steps with a view to reduce the evidence of carbon emissions during his visit to Aurangabad. According to him Smart City has started work in the city.
