Mumbai: After Bulli Bai App, now there is a ruckus about the audio chat application Club House App. Acting swiftly in this case, Mumbai Police has arrested three accused from different parts of the country.
According to reports, the police have said that in the clubhouse chat, people used to make objectionable remarks about women and during the discussion, there is a discussion about auctioning women’s body parts by making obscene comments. Mumbai Police said in a statement that three people have been arrested for making objectionable remarks against women in the Clubhouse app chat.
Three people have been arrested for making abusive and cruel statements about women in Club House app chat. On the basis of a complaint of a woman, Mumbai Cyber Police has registered a case in the matter. Name of arrested accused are Akash, Jeshnav & Yash Parashar: Mumbai Police

Based on the complaint of a woman, the Mumbai Cyber Police has arrested three people by registering an FIR in the case. The accused arrested by the police include Akash, Jeshnav and Yash Parashar. Milind Bharambe, Joint CP, Crime Branch, Mumbai Police said that two chat rooms were created in the Clubhouse app, one on January 16 and the other on January 19. There were many participants in the chat room making derogatory statements about women and talking about auctioning body parts.

He told that, we have registered a case against an obscene clubhouse app chat and arrested a person from Karnal, Haryana and taken on 3 days transit remand. Two other accused have been detained from Faridabad and will also be brought to Mumbai on transit remand.

Actually a woman had complained to the Mumbai Police in this matter. Thereafter, the police started investigation and registered a case against the accused under sections 153 (a), 295 (a), 354 (a), 354 (d) of the IPC and section 67 of the Information Technology Act 2000. During the investigation, the police have traced the accused and arrested them from different places and are now investigating further.
