Gondia, For the last 5 days, a call has been given by the union of employees to withdraw the strike. Despite this, the agitating ST employees of both these depots of Tiroda and Gondia in the district are on strike. Only 3 drivers of the movement have returned to work. At the same time, the remaining employees are standing on the movement. Due to which the bus service of both Gondia and Tiroda depots could not be started at full capacity. Looks like a picture like this. At present, 5 ferries are being left from Gondia depot.
It is noteworthy that the strike has started for the last two and a half months. Big efforts are going on by Rapani and the state government to end this, but no result has come out. In this series, a few days ago, the employees’ organization called for withdrawal of the movement, but ignoring it, all the employees except only 3 driver employees are engaged in the movement. Three regular drivers of Gondia depot have been posted. The same 5 employees are contract drivers. On their trust, ferries of 5-6 buses are being set up from here for the last 5 days.
Passengers turn their backs on Lalpari
There is a crisis of corona infection in the district for the last two years. Due to which communication ban has been implemented. ST service was kept closed during this period. After this the State Transport Corporation started the bus service. But due to the employees being on indefinite strike for two and a half months, the bus service has come to a complete standstill. Due to which the commuters are facing problems regarding public transport.
Whereas for the last two years, sometimes the bus service started and sometimes there is such a situation. Due to which the passengers have made alternative arrangements. At present one or two ST buses are running but there is not much response from the passengers. Due to which the passengers have turned their backs from Lalpari.
