This 167-day trip was also special because it was the longest mission of NASA in America, before the 84-day expedition was launched in 1974.
NASA’s SpaceX Crew 1 astronauts
Crew-1 167 Days Mission: Now the second between Earth and Space has been finished by humans, but the experience and way of living in both these places is completely different. This information has been given by some astronauts, who have spent 167 days in space. One of them says, ‘I feel very heavy.’ These four have returned to the Earth from the International Space Station (ISS) on 2 May. All of SpaceX’s aircraft arrived at night in the Gulf of Mexico near the coast of Panama City in Florida.
Now they have shared their experiences a day before. One of the astronauts of the group named Crew-1, Victor Glover, said on Thursday that there was a time when he asked himself to breathe. This 167-day trip was also special because it was the longest mission of the US so far (Long Mission of NASA), before the 84-day expedition was launched in 1974. Of these four astronauts, three are American and one is Japanese, all flew from the US space station in November in a ‘Resilance’ capsule.
‘That will all be challenging’
Glover said, ‘I was just telling myself to take a breath. Exhale as I was feeling very heavy. I felt like those cartoons, when they feel ji (gravitational acceleration), our face withers away. ‘ He further said, ‘I expected all that to be challenging, but seeing what actually happened, I think it was a little less than what I was thinking, so I did a lot of fun there. The weight of acceleration is mainly concentrated on the chest of the astronaut, so there is difficulty in breathing. However, the launch and entry was the most unique experience.
‘Landing in the water was fun’
Another American astronaut Shannon Walker said, ‘It was fun to land in the water because none of us thought about what was going to happen, but I can say so much on my part that it was a bit soft than landing on a gem Was. Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi also described the landing as good and said, ‘Its impact was quite low. We were feeling the waves, we had returned to the water planets… and that was the best experience. ‘
