In the primary Assam cupboard reshuffle since Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma assumed workplace on May 10 final 12 months, two MLAs Nandita Garlosa and Jayanta Malla Baruah have been sworn in as new ministers within the state cupboard on Thursday. Newly inducted minister Baruah had joined BJP again in 2015 together with Sarma. He was Sarma’s political secretary earlier than he was elevated as a minister.
