According to Kaustubh Trivedi, nephew of Arvind Trivedi, Arvind Trivedi was ill for a long time and died of a heart attack on Tuesday night at his residence in Kandivali. Condoling Trivedi’s death, PM Modi described him as not only a great actor but always ready for public works. He consoled the family and said that Arvind Trivedi will always be remembered for his works in the famous serial Ramayana.

At the same time, Sunil Lahiri, who played Laxman in this famous TV serial, mourned on Instagram and wrote that he has lost his father-like personality who always showed him the way. At the same time, Deepika Chikhaliya, who plays Sita, has also expressed grief.

Arvind Trivedi rose to fame with the role of Ravana in the 1986 TV serial Ramayana. He also worked in the famous TV serial ‘Vikram Aur Betaal’. Arvind Trivedi had acted in about 300 Hindi and Gujarati films and his Gujarati film Desh Re Joya Dada Pradesh Zoya was a huge hit. He has also served as the head of the Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) in the year 2003. Apart from acting, he was also associated with politics and in 1991 he became an MP from Sabarkatha region as a member of Bharatiya Janata Party.
