Defence Deal: Amid military tensions with neighboring countries China and Pakistan, the central government is constantly strengthening the army. In the same sequence, the Defense Ministry has signed a big deal with Defense Public Sector Undertaking Company Bharat Dynamics Limited on 19 March. According to the news agency, a deal has been signed for the supply of 4,960 MILAN-2T anti-tank guided missiles. These anti-tank guided missiles will be handed over to the Indian Army. This whole deal is being said to be worth Rs 1188 crore.
The Ministry of Defense has given information about this. The MILAN-2T is being developed by Bharat Dynamics Limited under license from a French defense firm. It is believed that the completion of this deal will strengthen the capacity of the Indian Army. It may take 3 years to get all 4,960 MILAN-2T anti-tank guided missiles from Bharat Dynamics.
