Alert issued to all government buildings and airports after IED blast near Israeli embassy in Delhi

The blast took place near the Israeli embassy in New Delhi on Friday. No one is reported to have been injured in the blast yet. Delhi Police has said that the blast took place near the pavement and three cars were damaged by the blast. After the blast in Delhi, the CISF has issued an alert at all the airports in the country. Security of airports has been increased. The CISF has said that security of important buildings and government buildings has also been increased. Simultaneously, security has been increased in the country’s financial capital Mumbai.

The Beating Retreat ceremony was going on a short distance from the place where the explosion took place. Major leaders and individuals of the country including Prime Minister Narendra Modi were present in this ceremony. The Israeli Embassy in Delhi is located on APJ Abdul Kalam Road.

According to Delhi Police sources, it was an IED blast. The bomb was placed in a vase. According to police sources, it is believed that it was thrown from a moving vehicle.

Delhi Police has said that the blast was of very low intensity. No injuries were reported in the blast. 3 cars parked nearby have been damaged. It is believed that the blast was a scare attempt.

Officers of Delhi Police’s Special Cell, Crime Bonch and IB have reached the blast site. Along with this, the team of NIA is also investigating on the spot.

However, no injuries were reported in the incident. According to Hindustan Times, Delhi Police has confirmed this. The nature of the explosion is being investigated. There is no information about any injuries in this blast. Police say that it is not yet clear what the nature of the blast is.

Fire Department official Prem Lal said that he received a call about the blast at 5.45 minutes. He then reached the scene of the incident. He said that there was no report of any injuries in it.
