Nagpur. ST Mahamandal has taken the second action of this month after about 4 days. On Thursday, he sacked 10 employees. These include 5 drivers, 4 carriers, 1 mechanical. So far, a total of 386 employees have lost their jobs. In contrast, no employee has returned to the job in the last 15 days.
On this action, the employee organizations say that just as the ST Mahamandal has the right to take action, they have the right to protest for their rights. The employees say that they will not end the strike until their demands are met. They are not afraid of the action of the Mahamandal. Here, the officers of the corporation say that the action being taken is as per the rules. Many employees do not come under the purview of this action. They can return to work if they wish.
However, the effect of this offer of Mahamandal is not visible. The reason for this is being told the activism of the members of the employees union. He has assured all the employees that in February, the court will decide in their favor. However, for the last two months, the officers of the corporation are telling such things only as a rumor. He says that no date is clear from the court yet. In the past, many such things have proved to be rumours.
11,169 people traveled in 72 buses
On Thursday, 72 buses were run by ST Mahamandal on various routes. These include Ganeshpeth – 26, Imamwada – 7 Ghatroad-18, Umred – 3 Saoner-8 Vardhman – 6, Ramtek-3 Katol-1 buses. These buses covered a distance of 21,498.1 km in 218 ferries. A total revenue of Rs 8,01,015 has been received from them. According to officials, the reason for the increase in revenue is due to the availability of passengers in large numbers. As the number of employees increases, the revenue will also increase on the same basis. However, the ST employees who went on strike are not in a mood to return, which is creating difficulties for the common man.
