- Violation of rules in 13 establishments

Nagpur. Punitive action is going on continuously on establishments and citizens who violate the rules of COVID. Every day around 5,000 new COVID infected are being found. Despite this, people do not see any difference. Still people are attending wedding ceremonies without wearing masks. On Saturday, the NDS squads took action to impose fines for violating the COVID protocol in three such wedding ceremonies. Action was taken against a total of 13 establishments including these, which also includes some coaching classes.
In Hanumannagar zone, a social auditorium in Nandanvan area, an auditorium in Krida Chowk and a marriage lance in Asinagar zone were fined Rs 25,000 for violating COVID rules. Here social distancing was not being followed in the marriage ceremony. Also, masks were not worn. The squads investigated a total of 50 wedding halls and marriage lances in all 10 zones, out of which punitive action was taken against three.
Violations in coaching classes
The rules are not being followed in the shops, showrooms, coaching classes in the city. Action was taken against a coaching class located in Dattatraynagar in Nehrunagar zone. A penalty of Rs 15,000 was recovered from here. In this zone, a coaching class operator in Sri Krishnanagar was fined 10 thousand rupees. On the other hand, punitive action was taken in two showrooms in Dhamrampeth zone, two shops in Dhantoli zone, two institutions in Gandhibagh, two showrooms in Lakarganj zone. A total penalty of Rs 1.10 lakh was recovered in these actions.
Mask action against 81
Punitive action was also taken against 81 citizens roaming in public places in the city without wearing masks. NDS squads collected Rs 40,500 as penalty from 81 citizens. Citizens have been appealed not to come out of their homes without wearing masks. Stay safe yourself and also protect your family members from COVID.
