Mumbai: The third wave of corona in Mumbai may have come under control, but more care is needed to eliminate it completely. Even in the third wave, the negligence of the people is coming to the fore. People are not strictly following the Corona Rules. Therefore, BMC has decided to appoint 1,000 cleanup marshals to take action against those who roam without wearing masks and spitting anywhere in Mumbai. 30 to 60 marshals will be prepared in each ward.

It was made mandatory to apply masks, wash hands and take action against those who spit in public places. Since then, BMC has been continuously taking action against those who violate the rules. To speed up this action, BMC is going to increase the number of marshals. Earlier, the number of cleanup marshals appointed by the BMC was 750. In which 250 marshals will be increased.
