Nagpur. After the incident of murder under Panchpavli police station, the police arrested Nilesh Pillaiwan under section 302. An application for bail was filed in the lower court citing no activism in the matter. But after it was rejected, now the door of the High Court was knocked on. After hearing this, Judge Rohit Dev issued orders to release him on bail on the basis of other conditions and not tampering with the evidence. On behalf of the petitioner Pilwan, Mr. Shweta Wankhede and Assistant Public Prosecutor NS Rao argued on behalf of the government. According to the prosecution, Pillaiwan runs a Chinese restaurant where his accomplices Vivek and Mohsin drank alcohol with the deceased.
Case exposed by CCTV footage
According to the prosecution, the murder was recorded in the CCTV footage. During the investigation, CCTV footage was scanned in which it is clearly visible that the deceased was attacked in the restaurant itself. Even Vivek, the second accused in the case, is shown coming out and going inside the restaurant with a knife. During the hearing, appearing for the petitioner, Mr. Wankhede said that Mohsin, another accused in the case, has already been granted bail by the court. In actual fact, the CCTV footage clearly shows that Vivek was prevented by the petitioner from entering the restaurant. Even there is no evidence against the petitioner to be involved in the whole matter.

The court said in the order that no weapons have been confiscated from the petitioner. The trial court has refused to grant bail probably due to the number of wounds on the body of the deceased. Even because of the involvement of more than one person, bail was not granted taking the possibility of causing so many wounds. Looking at the whole matter, the High Court paid Rs 16,000. Ordered to be released on bail on the condition of not tampering with any kind of personal bond, witnesses or evidence and not leaving the country without the permission of the trial court.
