Mumbai: The Center on Tuesday announced Seva Medal for 51 personnel of Maharashtra Police on the eve of Republic Day. An official gave this information. He said that the Union Home Ministry has released a list with the names of police officers.
The President’s Medal for Gallantry is being awarded to Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police Gopal Maniram Usendi, Sub-Inspector Bharat Chintaman Nagre, Constables Mahendra Ganu Kuleti, Sanjay Ganpati Bakmwar, Diwakar Kesari Narote, Nileshwar Devji Pada and Santosh Vijay Potvi, who have worked in Gadchiroli. He took part in the anti-Naxal operation in the district.
