The number of corona infected is increasing day by day in the state, in such a situation, with new restrictions, the government has instructed all the district administrations to be ready to deal with the third wave, on the same lines, the district administration has started preparations for the COVID Care Center. In this way a total of 240 beds each in 24 PHCs of the district and 244 beds in Mahatma Gandhi Ayurvedic College, Salod, Hirapur, COVID Care Center of 484 beds have been kept ready. Due to getting about 35 new corona infected, there has been panic everywhere, due to the increasing number of patients in the state, the government has also started imposing strict restrictions.
Strict enforcement of restrictions
District Magistrate Prerna Deshbhratar has also issued a new order asking for strict implementation of the restrictions. Oxygen plant built in the district was reviewed. Instructions have been given to keep other services ready including district hospital, rural hospital, bed facility in sub-district hospitals. There should be no crowd in the market and public places, guidelines were issued even after strictly following the corona rules in the programs, in the first and second wave there was a large amount of casualties, about 1327 people lost their lives in the district.

Steps are being taken with a view to prepare COVID Care Center at the village level including district, sub-district and rural hospital. There are total 28 primary health centers in the district. But to get relief, the district administration has prepared a 10-bed each COVID Care Center in about 24 PHCs. Apart from this, a 244-bed COVID Care Center has been made available at Mahatma Gandhi Ayurvedic College, Salod Hirapur, which comes under Savangi Hospital. Apart from this, the old COVID Care Center is likely to be implemented once again if needed in the coming days, the health administration has called for avoiding the third wave.
Appointment of Nodal Officer
Keeping in view the increasing corona infection, Naib Tehsildar Shakuntala Paraje of Deoli Tehsil was appointed as the nodal officer for simple beds, ICU beds, ventilators, medicines and oxygen management in Hinganghat Upazila Hospital, while the number of patients in the district increased. District Magistrate Prerna Deshbhratar has appointed Deputy Collector Praveen Mahire as Nodal Officer and Tehsildar Madhuri Tekade as Assistant Nodal Officer for medicines and health related materials and smooth management.
43 active corona infected
The number of corona infected is increasing in the district since January 1, in the last twenty four hours, about 531 citizens were tested for corona, in which 21 new infected have been found, as a result, now the number of active patients has reached 43.
