33,470 new cases of corona found in Maharashtra, 29,671 people recovered; 8 patients died

Mumbai. There has been a decline in the cases of Coronavirus in Maharashtra. According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department on Monday, 33,470 new cases of corona have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. While 8 patients have died. At the same time, 31 infected have been found from Omicron. Apart from this, 13,648 new cases and 5 deaths have been registered in the capital Mumbai.

According to the Health Department, after receiving 33,470 cases of corona in the last 24 hours and the death of five people, the total number of infected people has increased to 69,53,514 and the number of dead to 1,41,647.

At the same time, 29,671 people have returned home after getting corona free in the last 24 hours. So far 66,02,103 people have been cured of this epidemic in the state. At present, 2,06,046 active patients are being treated in the state. The recovery rate in the state today is 94.95% and the death rate is 2.03 percent. At present, 12,46,729 people are in home quarantine and 2,505 in institutional quarantine in the state.

Omicron infected number 1,247

According to the Health Department, 31 new cases of Omicron have been registered in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours. All these reports have been received from the National Chemical Laboratory. The maximum number of 28 cases have been found in Pune city, while 2 patients have been found in Pune Rural and 1 in Pimpri Chinchwad. With this, the total number of infected has increased to 1,247. Out of which 467 patients have defeated the new variant virus.

In the last 24 hours in Mumbai, 13,648 positive cases of corona virus have been found and 5 people have died. With this, the total number of infected has increased to 9,28,220. While the death toll has reached 16,411.

In Mumbai, 59,242 people have been tested for corona in the last 24 hours. So far 142,63,047 samples have been tested here.
