This phase is of vaccination. The world’s largest vaccination campaign is starting from January 16.
PM said that our goal is to get 300 million people vaccinated in the next few months. The protocol that we are following also has to be maintained. Those who are getting vaccinated will also have to follow the protocol seriously.
Both government and private health workers will be vaccinated
Prime Minister Modi said that if we look at the number of frontline workers and health workers of different states, it is about 3 crore. It has been decided that in the first phase, the Government of India will not bear the expenses that will be incurred in giving the vaccine to these 3 crore people. The PM said that our first attempt is to deliver the Corona vaccine to those people who are engaged in the health services of the countrymen. Along with this, the other front line workers who are also in the first phase will be vaccinated.
The PM said that along with this, our cleaners who are other front line workers, military forces, police and central forces, home guards, civil defence personnel including disaster management volunteers, personnel-related to containers and surveillance In the first phase will be vaccinated.

They will be vaccinated in the second phase
PM Modi said that the second phase of COVID 19 vaccination will be vaccinated to all people above 50 years of age. He said that two ‘Made in India’ COVID vaccines have been allowed to be used in an emergency.
