Wardha. Ashti-Pulgaon Police carried out a guerilla action at the high-profile gambling base, in which, after registering a case against 28 gamblers, goods worth Rs. As soon as it came to light, the team raided on the instructions of Police Inspector Shailesh Shelke.
In this, 7 people were caught gambling red-handed, five mobiles, two two-wheelers, cash worth 18 thousand 900 and goods worth Rs 2 lakh 92 thousand 260 were confiscated. Among the gamblers Abhijit Dubey, Sachin Varwade, Om Pandey, Vijay Deshmukh, Praful Kamble, Swaraj Kale and Rajendra Chaudhary were involved, after registering a case against all, further investigation was started.

On the other hand, a major action was carried out under the leadership of Ashti’s police station, Laxman Lokre, when the police suddenly arrived at the gambling base being played secretly in the bus stand premises, during which the police arrested about 21 gamblers, Santosh Pokle, among the accused, Jeevan Kadu, Sanjay Pohane, Satish Nichat, Vicky More, Nitin Satpal, Sanjay Darokar, Vilas Kawanpure, Prashant Malge, Ashish Thackeray, Vinod Surpam, Manoj Savwalke, Vasudev Vaidya, Sandeep Kumbhare, Suresh Pohane, Ravi Baskaware, Mayur Gupta, Bablu Varudkar , Sagar Shendre, Subhash Pohane.
A total of 25 thousand 230 rupees including playing cards, cash and other items were seized from the spot and further investigation was started after registering a case against the gamblers.
