According to the information, on January 7, 2022, in a country liquor shop in Khaparkheda Mauja Pota, a person sitting at the counter was injured with a dagger and looted a total of 31,000 rupees including cash, mobile and CCTV DVR box of Rs 19,000. To investigate this, Nagpur Rural Superintendent of Police Vijaykumar Magar had formed 2 teams.
During this, Pathak got secret information that in the closed company of Eco Smart Walls of Mauja Nandgaon under Police Station Khapa, 2 youths are sitting in suspicious condition and they also have weapons. On the basis of the information, Pathak raided the spot, Harshit alias Amit Anandkumar Pandey (21) native of West Sarira Teh. Manjhanpur, Distt. Kaushambi, and Lovelesh Pappu Nishad (21) were arrested and searched, 2 country-made pistols and 6 live cartridges were recovered after taking them into custody.
Came to Nagpur in search of work
During the interrogation of the police, the accused told that both had come to Nagpur on 29 December 2021 in search of work from Uttar Pradesh. As they did not have a vehicle to roam, both of them stole the Passion Pro bike from in front of Tirumal bar in Pipla complex of Khaparkheda. After this, on January 7, both of them went to a country liquor shop in Paota of Khaparkheda and robbed the manager at gunpoint alone. After that, the DVR box of CCTV and mobile were thrown in Kanhan river while going towards Parshivani.
