Silver, Gold Rate Today in India: The trend of falling gold prices for five consecutive trading sessions took a break. According to HDFC Securities, gold prices rose by Rs 94 to close at Rs 46,877 per 10 grams in the national capital on Monday, amid the upward trend in the international price of precious metal. In the previous trading session, gold had closed at Rs 46,783 per 10 grams.
Silver also rises
Silver too gained Rs 340 to Rs 68,391 per kg, compared to Rs 68,051 per kg in the previous trading session. In the international market, gold gained US $ 1,815 an ounce and silver also gained $ 27.16 an ounce.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said that gold prices rose in the US amid disappointing employment figures and expectation of stimulus package there.
