Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana 2020: Under the Atal Insured Person Welfare Scheme, an insured person will be provided financial assistance if he loses his job. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to those in the organized sector who have become unemployed due to some reason. Through this scheme, the economic condition of unemployed workers will improve. And he will be able to find a job to the best of his ability. Under the Atal Insured Person Welfare Scheme of the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), an allowance is given by the government on leaving the job. If you work in the organized sector and your company deducts your PF / ESI from your salary every month, then there is good news from the Modi government for you. The government set up ESIC Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana Laghu to take care of the insured persons. The scheme was implemented for two years on 1 July 2018. Meaning that the scheme expired on 30 June 2020. However, due to the Corona crisis, the government decided to extend it for one year and now it has been implemented till 30 June 2021.

If for some reason your current job is missed, then the central government will give you money. This major initiative has been taken by the Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) for private job seekers. The ESI clearly states, “Under the Atal Insured Person’s Welfare Scheme”, the government provides financial assistance to you when you leave your job. Missing your employment for some reason does not mean loss of your income. ”

How to register to avail this Atal Insured Person Welfare Scheme

  • If you want to take advantage of the Atal Insured Welfare Scheme, then registration is necessary, you can download the form of Atal Insured Person Welfare Scheme by visiting the ESIC website https://www.esic.nic.in/.
  • After this, this form has to be filled and then this form will have to be submitted to the ESIC branch. With this form, you will have to get a notarized affidavit on non-judicial paper of Rs 20, to submit form AB-1 to AB-4.
  • After filling this form correctly, you will have to submit it to any nearest branch of Employees State Insurance Corporation.

Know who is eligible for the Atal Insured Person Welfare Scheme

A person who has been expelled from the company for some reason will not be able to take advantage of Atal Bimit Vyakti Kalyan Yojana. If a criminal case has been filed against a person, then he will also not be able to avail the scheme, and even those who are willing to retire will not be able to avail the Atal Insured Person Welfare Scheme. And in it, all those people who have already taken benefit of this scheme will not be able to take advantage of this scheme again.
