Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, in a meeting held at his residence on Sunday, directed to start Indira Kitchen Scheme in urban areas of the state from August 20. The state government will bear 100 crore rupees every year
Chief Minister Gehlot said that the state government will spend 100 crore rupees every year on this Indira Kitchen Yojana. He has instructed the collectors that participation of service-oriented institutions and voluntary organizations should be ensured in the operation of the scheme. Also select appropriate places for the kitchen. Instructions have also been given to constitute committees at the state and district levels to ensure food quality.
358 cooks will be operational in all 213 bodies
At the meeting, Urban Development Minister Shanti Dhariwal said that both meals will be provided at concessional rate in Indira Rasoi Yojana. The state government will provide a grant of 12 rupees per plate. In all 213 urban bodies of the state, 358 cooks will be run, where needy people will be seated and fed with respect.
4 crore 87 lakh people will get food every year
Bhawani Singh Detha, Government Secretary of the Department of Autonomous Governments, said that 4 crore 87 lakh people will be provided food every year. This can be further increased as per the requirement. Cooks will be opened at such places as railway stations, bus stands, hospitals, doorposts, where people have more presence.
Chefs will be monitored through mobile apps and CCTV
Please tell that a menu of 100 grams of lentils, 100 grams of vegetables, 250 grams of chapatti and pickles has been set in the food. He informed that necessary provisions will be made in cooks to prevent corona epidemic. IT based monitoring of the scheme will be done. The beneficiary will get the information from the SMS on the mobile as soon as he takes the coupon. The cooks will be monitored through mobile apps and CCTV.
