PM Ujjwala Yojana Deadline in September

Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana is launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 1 May 2016. Under this scheme, free gas connections are being distributed to women in the country. Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana) benefits will be provided to women coming below the poverty line of the country.

Prime Minister Ujjwala Yojana (PM Free Gas Connection Scheme) aims at providing the freedom to women from domestic smoke. Wood and coal are used for cooking food in rural areas of the country. The smoke emanating from it causes many diseases. To save women from diseases caused by domestic smoke, the central government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PM Ujjwala Yojana PMUJY).

The implementation of this Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana is being done under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas of the Central Government. Under this scheme, only free gas connections are being given to the women of BPL ration card holders families. And now in lock-down time, the Central Government has also given gas cylinders to women for free.

A total of 8,03,39,993 free gas connections were distributed by the central government till September 2019. The same central government has issued a helpline number 1906 under the Ujjwala scheme (PM Ujjwala Yojana PMUJY) to deal with the problem of gas leakage. In case of gas leakage, Ujjwala customers (PM Free Gas Connection Scheme) can call these numbers.

How to apply for Prime Minister Ujjwala scheme?

  • On the first page of this website, click on the “Download Form” option in the “Menu Bar”.
  • An option to download the form , / English will appear on the next page that opens. Download the application in your own language from your wish.
  • Now by filling all the information in clear letters in this application form. Has it delivered to your nearest LPG Gas Dealer?

Thus you can apply to get free gas connection in this Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PM Ujjwala Yojana PMUJY). In Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, you have to have Aadhar Card, BPL Ration Card along with all other documents to get a Ufat Gas connection.
