According to information received from the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), PM Modi will also inaugurate various projects worth more than Rs 5,200 crore for his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya will also be present on the occasion.

The PMO said that the PM Self-Reliant Swasth Bharat Yojana is a nationwide and biggest scheme to strengthen the health infrastructure across the country and will be in addition to the National Health Mission.
The PMO said that the objective of Aatmanirbhar Swasth Bharat Yojana is to bridge the existing gap in facilities for primary and critical health conditions in urban and rural areas. Under this scheme, 17,788 rural and urban health and health centers will be supported in 10 states. In addition, 11,024 urban health and treatment centers will be set up in all the states.
The PMO said that critical care centers will be set up in all the districts of the country with a population of more than five lakhs. This scheme of about Rs 64,180 crore will improve health facilities across the country. Under the scheme, Integrated Public Health Labs will be set up in all the districts and 3,382 blocks of the country, so that new diseases can be detected and cured at the earliest.
The Prime Minister’s Self-Reliant Healthy India Scheme was recently approved by the cabinet. The Prime Minister’s Self-reliant Healthy India scheme was announced in the budget presented on 1 February this year. Now this scheme has been approved by the cabinet. As per the plan, wellness centers will be set up in 17,788 villages and 11,024 urban and urban areas across the country. Apart from this, critical care hospitals will be opened in 602 districts of the country.
Under this plan, the National Center for Disease Control will also be strengthened. According to a report, an Integrated Health Information Portal will also be opened, with which public health labs will be linked. This scheme is for the financial year 2025-26. Under this, 15 health emergency operation centers and two mobile hospitals will also be opened across the country. Also, special attention will be given to the 10 states with the most vulnerable health facilities. This was informed by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman during the budget.
