Ranchi : Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Chhavi Ranjan on 15 January 2022 regarding the scheme related to providing Petrol Subsidy to the beneficiary families covered by Food Security Act 2013 and Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme who have registered two wheelers in the state. A virtual meeting was organized under the chairmanship of (Chhavi Ranjan). Additional District Magistrate Ranchi, Sub-Divisional Officer Sadar, District Transport Officer, District Supply Officer and all Block Development Officers/Zonal Officers of the district were present in the meeting.
During the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Ranchi Chhavi Ranjan directed to prepare the data of the beneficiaries regarding the grant of petrol subsidy. He said that under the scheme ₹ 250 is to be made available to PHH (pink) and green ration card holders as subsidy through one-time DBT per month. Regarding this, he directed to prepare the data of the qualified holders. The concerned Block Development Officers in rural areas and Zonal Officers of urban areas in urban areas were instructed to prepare the data.

Under the scheme, the entry of the qualified holders will have to be done in the app. Giving detailed information to the officials in this regard, the Deputy Commissioner said that on application by the applicant, the data will go to the DTO login, where it will be verified whether the vehicle is registered in the name of the applicant or not. After this the data will go to the login of the District Supply Officer, from where the ration card will be verified in the name of the applicant or not. After this the amount will be transferred to the eligible beneficiary in the bank account through DBT.
The scheme launched on January 26
This scheme will be launched by the Honorable Chief Minister on 26th January. Under the scheme, pink and green ration card beneficiary families who have two wheelers registered in the state. They will be provided ₹250 per month through DBT as petrol subsidy.
