How to apply for Green Ration Card?
To get a green ration card, go to the public service center or food supply department or PDS center and apply. You can also apply online if you want. For this, Aadhar card number, mobile number, bank account details, residential and voter icard will be required. This scheme will be run by the state government. Only BPL card holders will get the benefit of the scheme.
Grain will be available for 1 rupee
5 kg ration per unit will be given to poor people through green ration card. In this, they will be provided grain for 1 rupee. Green ration card holders will have to apply afresh for this. The Jharkhand government is planning to implement the scheme from November 15. Camps are being organized in different places so that people do not face difficulty in making cards.
Camp will be organized according to the ward
Camps are being organized in Jharkhand for green ration cards according to the wards. For this, camps will be organized in 53 ward offices. Under the Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme, 1.32 lakh beneficiaries of Ranchi district are to be added under this scheme. Those applying to the camp will only have to carry their ID (proof).
