Aurangabad: Positive thoughts are being taken about the inclusion of Chikalthana Airport in the city under Krishi Udan Scheme 2.0. This information was given by Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia by sending a letter to Aurangabad MP Imtiaz Jaleel.
MP Jalil told the journalists of Aurangabad that I am also a member of the advisory committee of the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation. In the committee meeting last week, the demand for inclusion of Chikalthana International Airport in Krishi Udan-2.0 scheme was made by MP Imtiaz Jaleel by giving a letter to Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia on 5 December 2021. Fundamental changes are taking place in the agriculture sector in the entire Marathwada including Aurangabad district. In other trade of the country, farmers are not able to get better compensation for their goods due to lack of means to reach agricultural goods at least on time, as well as due to lack of better transport system. Therefore, I had informed the Union Minister in the letter that agricultural goods must be transported by air in trade in the shortest possible time.
