In this PM Fasal Bima Scheme of the central government, farmers have to pay a uniform insurance plan of only 2% for all kharif crops and 1.5% for all rabi crops! Pradhan Mantri Crop Insurance Scheme (PMFBY) not only provides protection to Rabi and Kharif crops but also provides protection to horticultural crops! However the premium amount for horticultural crops has been fixed at 5%!
