Manmad: To end the drinking water problem of Manmad city forever, the government has made a provision of Rs 350 crore for the Karanjavan Water Supply Scheme. Urban Development Minister Eknath Shinde gave this information to the journalists. Minister Shinde also assured full help by the government to solve other problems of the city.
Eknath Shinde had come to Manmad to attend a private program. Speaking on the occasion, he said that the people here are facing severe water crisis since last many years. To solve this problem forever, Jeevan Authority and Water Distribution Department had sent a proposal of Karanjwan Water Supply Scheme to the government. Shiv Sena MLA Suhas Kande made every effort to get this proposal approved. The government has not only given green signal to this scheme, but has also made a provision of Rs 350 crore for it.
