On the last day of this week i.e. on Friday, there was a huge drop in the price of gold and silver on MCX (Gold Silver latest price). Gold for October delivery closed at Rs 46651 per ten grams with a fall of Rs 952 (Gold rate today). The gold for delivery in December ended at Rs 46810 with a fall of Rs 998 and the gold for delivery in February 2022 rose by Rs 714 to close at Rs 48740.
Last week, gold had closed at Rs 48001 per ten grams (Gold price today). In this way, a fall of Rs 1350 was recorded in gold on a weekly basis. On the last day in the international market, gold fell by $ 45.40 (2.51 percent) to close at $ 1763.50 per ounce. Gold fell by about $ 55 this week. On a weekly basis, this fall is close to 2.73 percent.
2872 fall in silver delivery this week
There was a severe fall in silver also on the last day of this week (Silver latest price). Silver for September delivery ended at Rs 64,975 per kg with a fall of Rs 2023. Last week the closing price of silver was Rs 67847. On a weekly basis, it declined by Rs 2872. Silver for delivery in December ended at Rs 65,800 per kg with a fall of Rs 2054.
Bullion market also showed pressure
On the last day of the week, gold fell by Rs 283 in the Delhi bullion market to close at Rs 46,570 per ten grams. In the bullion market, a fall of Rs 661 was recorded in silver today. It closed at Rs 65,514 per kg. The rupee rose against the dollar for the fifth consecutive day this week.
How much gold and silver became cheaper on IBJA
According to the information available on the website of IBJA, the closing price of 24 carat gold this week is Rs 47647 per ten grams. Last week this price was Rs 48430. In this way, a fall of Rs 783 was recorded in it. The closing price of silver was Rs 66727. Last week’s closing price was Rs 68053. In this way, a fall of Rs 1326 was recorded in it.
Dollar index rises, crude oil falls sharply
On the last day of this week, the dollar index gained +0.57% and closed at 92.780 level. It registered a rise of 0.66 percent on a weekly basis. The 10-year US bond yield closed at 1.305 per cent with a gain of +1.34% on Friday. It registered a rise of 6.50 percent on a weekly basis. Crude oil fell heavily on the last day of this week. It closed down by $ 0.99 (-1.39%) at $ 70.30 per barrel. Crude oil declined by 7.38 percent on a weekly basis.
