Silver slips against gold
Unlike gold, silver has become cheaper in the Delhi bullion market today. There was a fall in its price by Rs 626 per kg. Due to this fall, silver became cheaper in the Delhi bullion market today and sold at a price of Rs 62,214 per kg. A trading day ago, silver prices closed at Rs 62,840 per kg in the Delhi bullion market. Today the rupee has weakened by 23 paise to close at Rs 75.38 against a US dollar.

Gold strong, silver stable in the international market
Talking about the global market, the price of gold has strengthened while the prices of silver remained almost stable. In the global market, gold was traded at US $ 1827 (Rs 1.38 lakh) per ounce (1 kg = 35.3 oz) while silver was traded at US $ 23.02 (Rs 1732.88) per ounce. According to Patel, the US CPI (Consumer Price Index) rose to 7.50 per cent in January, due to which gold prices were supported.
