Gold and Silver Price Today: Due to the strength of the rupee, today, Friday 8th April, the shine of gold has also faded in the domestic market. Gold has become cheaper by Rs 35 per ten grams. Due to this fall, gold fell to Rs 51,697 per ten grams in the Delhi bullion market today. This information has been given by Tapan Patel, Senior Analyst (Commodities), HDFC Securities. A trading day ago, gold had closed at Rs 51,732 per ten grams in the Delhi bullion market. Unlike gold, silver has become expensive today.
Today RBI has announced the first monetary policies for the current financial year 2022-23 and the central bank RBI has not changed the rates. Its effect was visible on the rupee and it gained 13 paise to Rs 75.90 against a US dollar.

Silver becomes expensive in contrast to gold
In the Delhi bullion market today, the price of silver rose against gold. There was a jump of Rs 295 per kg in its price. Due to this increase, the price of silver reached Rs 66,752 per kg in the Delhi bullion market today. A trading day ago, silver had closed at Rs 66,457 per kg in the Delhi bullion market.
Gold and silver stable in international market
Talking about the global market, there was no significant change in the prices of both gold and silver and their prices remained almost constant. In the global market, gold was traded at US $ 1,931 (Rs 1.47 lakh) per ounce (1 kg = 35.3 oz) while silver was traded at US $ 24.65 (Rs 1870.36) per ounce.
