Rise in the price of silver
In the Delhi bullion market today, along with gold, there was a tremendous increase in the price of silver today. Its price rose by Rs 2,350 per kg today. Due to this jump, the price of silver reached Rs 66,267 per kg in the Delhi bullion market today. A trading day ago, silver had closed at Rs 63,917 per kg in the Delhi bullion market.

The rupee on Thursday fell 102 paise to 75.63 against the dollar after Russia announced the launch of military operations in Ukraine. HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Spot gold of 24 carat gold in Delhi rose by Rs 1,656 on a rise in gold prices following the fall in the rupee value at New York-based commodity exchange Comex. He said gold rose on the back of increased investment in safe investment options on fears of severe sanctions on Russia following escalating geopolitical tensions.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday announced the launch of a military operation in Ukraine, warning that any attempt to interfere with Russian action could result in consequences like never before seen in the international market. Gold rose to $ 1,942 an ounce, while silver also rose to $ 25.07 an ounce. “Spot gold prices on Thursday rose 1.80 per cent to $1,942 an ounce at Comex, which led to a rise in gold here,” Patel said.
