Mumbai: The budget session of Maharashtra Legislature is starting from March 3, but before that the main opposition party BJP has said that till the cabinet minister Nawab Malik arrested in the money laundering case. Thackeray government does not accept resignation from Malik, we will not allow the budget session to run. State BJP President Chandrakant Patil has said that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested Nawab Malik on charges of having links with underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and money laundering connections. In such a situation, supporting the Nawab by Mahavikas Aghadi is tantamount to supporting Dawood Ibrahim.
He said that we hope that by March 2, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will accept the resignation of cabinet minister Nawab Malik, but if this does not happen, then BJP will not allow the budget session starting from March 3. Patil said that Dawood is an international terrorist who had killed hundreds of people by plotting serial bomb blasts in Mumbai. In such a situation, a leader having links with terrorists does not have the moral right to continue as a cabinet minister.
