- MLA Ganar raised the issue in the winter session
Nagpur. It is necessary to amend the existing rules to keep control over CBSE affiliated schools. For other demands like removing the injustice on the teachers and non-teaching staff of these schools, the legal advisor of CBSE School Staff Welfare Association (Siswar) Ed. There is a constant demand under the guidance of Sanjay Kashikar. This issue is likely to be discussed in the budget session.
Siswar had organized an agitation on November 1, 2021, demanding setting up of a school authority to provide justice to CBSE employees. The issue was also raised by MLA Nago Ganar during the winter session in which a letter was given to the government seeking legislation and constitution of a school tribunal to protect the services of over one lakh teachers and non-teaching staff in CBSE affiliated schools. .
Nago Ganar also wrote a letter to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, School Education Minister and Additional Chief Secretary on 1 February 2022. Nago Ganar also introduced a non-government bill to amend the services of employees of these schools subject to the provisions of the Maharashtra Private School Employees Regulation Act, 1977/78 and Rules, 1981 (MEPS Act).
On this basis, he has demanded to improve the provisions of the Act 1977 and Rules, 1981 (MEPS Act), to ensure the services of CBSE teacher employees and to provide them service protection. Ganar is also going to present this issue in the budget session.
