HDFC raises lending charges by 5 bps for present prospects

Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) on Sunday introduced a 5-basis factors (bps) hike in its retail prime lending price (RPLR) to 16.1%, to which its floating price residence loans are linked. While the mortgage lender’s present prospects must shell out extra as and when their loans come up for reset, charges on new loans will stay unchanged as new prospects will get a 5-bps low cost on the RPLR.
