    American CEO Robert Isom stated in the course of the Bernstein Conference the service will
    attraction the choice made by United States District Judge Leo Sorokin on May 19.

    and JetBlue “broke antitrust law” and ordered the airways “to dissolve the

    northeast, allocating markets between them and changing full-throated
    competitors with broad cooperation,” Judge Sorokin stated in his ruling.

    American and JetBlue use the Northeast Alliance to
    coordinate flights and pool income. While the partnership advantages each firms,
    Isom stated American’s flights out of New York solely account for lower than 5
    p.c of the service’s schedule.
