Through a poll on Twitter, Financial Express Online (Hindi) tried to get the opinion of the readers regarding the COVID 19 vaccination.

For this, he was asked, ‘COVID 19 vaccination has started in many parts of the world but some concerns related to it have also come out. In such a situation, would you like to get the vaccine first? The answer of 40 per cent of those involved in this poll was ‘No’. At the same time, 26.7 percent people replied in the affirmative. Apart from this, 33.3 percent participants were those who believed that they would focus on increasing their resistance capacity. Even though concerns about COVID 19 vaccine and some cool things are coming out, but doctors believe that there is nothing to fear. Vaccination is the best way to stay safe from COVID 19.

Speaking to Financial Express Online, Dr. KK Aggarwal, who was awarded the Padma Shri, said that the vaccines available at the initial stage may not be effective after one year. So people will have to take another dose of vaccine. But this does not mean to be intimidated about the effectiveness of the vaccine and the result of vaccination. When the corona vaccine is available, people should have it as soon as possible.

Dr. Aggarwal is the President of Heart Care Foundation of India (HCFI) and former President of Indian Medical Association (IMA). He further said that in order to instil confidence in citizens about the COVID 19 vaccine, the veteran people should come forward and do the same. Popular celebrities like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan and Amitabh Bachchan etc. should get vaccinated so that others can also be motivated for vaccination.
