Soya Chilli Recipe: Enjoy the rain with soy chili
material :
- Soybean Nuggets – 100 grams
- Garlic Paste – 1/2 teaspoon
- Oil – 2 tsp
- Finely chopped green onions – 1 cup
- Chopped Green Chillies – 2
- Soy Sauce – 2 tsp
- Vinegar – 2 tablespoons
- Salt – as per taste
Method :
After soaking the soybean nuggets in water for half an hour, squeeze the water. Add soy nuggets, a spoonful of salt and garlic paste to a bowl and mix well. Heat the oil in the pan and add green onions and fry for a while. Add green chili and cook for a few seconds. Now add remaining salt, soy sauce, vinegar and soybeans to the pan, mix well. Cook on high heat for two to four minutes and serve.

material-
- 1 onion, quarter
- 2 tomatoes, roughly chopped
- 2 green chillies
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 ½ tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 3 Tomatoes, chopped
- salt to taste
- 1 ½ tsp coriander powder
- ¼ teaspoon turmeric
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- ½ tbsp red chilli powder
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp mango powder
- 1 tbsp oysters fenugreek
- ¼ Cup yogurt, whisk
- 500ml water or as required
- 1 cup soya chunks
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Coriander for garnish
Method –
- Using a blender or hand blender, blend quarter onion, 2 chopped tomatoes and green chillies together. Keep aside.
- Place a pan on the gas. Add oil to it. When oil is hot, add cumin seeds. After the cumin seeds are fried, add finely chopped onion and fry it till it turns brown.
- After the onion turns brown, add ginger-garlic paste and fry for a minute. Now add finely chopped tomatoes and cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Now add onion-tomato puree to it. And cook for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Add salt, coriander powder, turmeric, garam masala, red chilli powder, cumin powder, mango powder and musk fenugreek. Mix well, add yogurt and mix again.
After the masala is ready, add water as per need. Add the soya chunks to a boil and mix well and cover and cook for 10-12 minutes. After 10 minutes, remove the cover, add the butter and mix well. Once cooked, remove from gas, pour into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice, roomy bread or naan.
