Ingredients to make ‘Poha Dhokla’
• 500 gm Poha
• 250 grams of curd
• 1 small spoon ginger paste
• 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
• 1/2 teaspoon chilli paste
• 2 tablespoons oil
• 1/2 tablespoon mustard seeds
Salt according to taste
• 1/4 teaspoon of soda
• 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped coriander leaves
.How to make ‘Poha Dhokla’
Firstly poha in a bowl. Keep in mind there are two types of Poha that are thin and thick in the market. To become a Poha Dhokla you have to take a thin Poha. Now soak the poha in curd. Beat the curd with the help of a spoon. Let the pohe be soaked in curd for half an hour. Now prepare ginger and green chilli paste. Prepare the paste by peeling the ginger or else the bitterness will start coming in the dhokla. Along with this, mix turmeric, salt, green coriander, soda and oil in the mixture.
Now mix all these ingredients well. You will see that the poha is completely dissolved in the curd, a smooth paste will be prepared. Now take a low depth bowl and apply oil all around. After this, spread the solution well in the pot. Now keep this vessel for steaming. Poha dhokla will be ready after 20-25 minutes. After the dhokla is ready, you can top it with rye, sugar, curry leaves and oil and serve it with green chutney.
