Bank Holidays in October 2021: Now only a few days are left for the end of this month and in the next month October 2021, the work in the banks will be closed for 20 days. Banks are going to be closed for several days in the festive season next month and in many places banks will open only on one day in a week. In such a situation, deal with the banks on time. It should be noted here that not all banks across the country will remain closed for 20 days as some of the holidays which are fixed by the central bank RBI are regional. This means that for some days only banks will remain closed in some states but in other states all banking work will continue as usual. In some places, banks will remain banks for five consecutive days next month. The holidays of October 2, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22 and 26 of the next month as decided by the RBI are under the Negotiable Instruments Act.
According to the RBI guidelines, banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month apart from Sundays. Below, information is being given about the bank holidays in the month of October, along with it is also being given in which state the banks will remain closed and where they will remain open on a particular day.
