Geetanjali says, “Although our family is from Kerala, I was born in Hyderabad. My childhood was similar to the rest of the South Indian families, giving great importance to education and discipline. During the summer holidays, we often visited our ancestral home in Kerala, where I spent half my childhood wandering in the fields and hills. I started learning about plants from there too. ” Gitanjali did a Bachelor of Science and an MBA in International Management, after which he worked in the clinical research industry for 12 years.
Gitanjali further states, “In 2017, I founded Farmizen as COO, together with two co-founders, Shamik Chakraborty (CEO) and Sudakaran Balasubramanian (CTO). When we were doing research on how to grow organic vegetables for our own use, we thought that this business model would be liked by many people and would help both consumers and farmers. So finally we thought of working on it. ”
Gitanjali believes that the past should be seen only to improve the future
