The wheel of time is spinning so fast that new things are being seen in every area. And the young generation has an important role in these innovations. With their foresight, youth have found business opportunities in many fields which are beyond the thinking of others. Our story today is also of such a young entrepreneur, who found a brilliant business idea out of people’s passion to ride a bike and built an empire of crores.
Preet Sharma Launched a unique brand called “Care My Tours”, under whose banner you are provided with proper arrangements for your biking adventure tour including your stay in any country including India. There is no doubt that India has innumerable adventurous and enthusiastic bikers who aspire to roam the world on two wheels. However, facilities for them were either extremely expensive or unavailable until now. Preet, who is fond of biking himself, saw a huge business potential in the region. Despite all the easy opportunities provided by his family, he decided to walk the difficult path of entrepreneurship.
Growing up in a high-middle class family, Preet was fond of supercars and superbikes since childhood. His father was associated with the hotel industry. Preet completed her education and moved to Australia for postgraduate studies. While studying, Preet earned some money by doing part-time jobs in restaurants, pubs etc. However, he did not lack money but did it fondly. He had realized that the job was not the right option for him. This was the time when he got the clarity to do business in life. He decided to return home with the Rs 30 lakh he earned while working in Australia. He invested that money in the construction business and invested in real estate.
He said in an interview with “I remember doing a bike expedition in January 2019 where we climbed the volcano and climbed to the top of the mountain, it was an experience that I cannot express in words”
Preet realizes the real problem behind the lack of superbike expeditions is that they are too expensive, and no company offers to service your bike expedition plans outside India. While many such companies exist in other countries. Keeping all this in mind and with the hotel business already in place, he started working on a plan to provide tour packages at work prices.
If someone wants to travel to America via superbike, then it will cost 2-3 lakh rupees for about ten days. At the same time, Care My Tours offers the same package for just Rs 1-1.25 lakh. Care My Tours has also partnered with brands such as BMW, Ducati and Java which enable the company to offer a superbike in almost every part of the world.
Preet explains that “We always get a huge response from Russia. In planning a visit to Russia, members of the Russian consulate came to greet us. The car of the Russian consulate was moving forward, all our bikers were behind them, and the police car was behind us. It was a very honourable moment and I finally realized the success of this venture that day.
The most important thing is that in such a campaign many unexpected events are expected. Such as brake failure, road accidents etc. But taking all these into consideration, Care My Tours gives complete assurance to the riders of safety. Trained riders run to the forefront and others follow them. Also, there is an SOS vehicle that follows the entire group, so that treatment will begin within minutes if any accident occurs.
Currently, Care My Tours has its presence in three countries, India, Australia and Vietnam. Preet plans to open franchises in at least 12 countries. Apart from this, Preet is doing business in a construction company and in the hotel industry itself. His total empire is worth 121 crores. He is working hard every day with the goal of making it Rs 250 crore by the end of next year.
Ideally, perseverance is the key to successful entrepreneurship. Every business fails many times before it becomes a big empire. Any aspiring entrepreneur should not forget that you have started from scratch, so you need to try again with firmness instead of giving up and being disappointed by what you lose.
