This partnership with BitPay allows investors to invest in Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) and US Dollar (USD). The linked five stable coins will help it meet its commitments with BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDC and USDP. Which in other sense will increase the acceptance for cryptocurrencies.
BitPay CEO Stephen Peir said in a press release that the partnership was born out of a large number of investors looking to transfer cryptocurrency allocation to physical assets, such as real estate. The company also shared it through a post on Twitter.
Apart from this, American theater chain AMC Theaters has also long ago announced to start accepting payments in mime cryptocurrencies Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu. From March 19, AMC Theaters has been told to start payment with meme based cryptocurrency. For this, transactions will be done through BitPay.
BitPay is a crypto payment service provider platform and AMC Theaters is the world’s largest theater chain operating in close to 1000 locations across the globe. BitPay did not support Shiba Inu when AMC Theaters announced it would accept payments in DodgeCoin and Shiba Inu in November last year. The company’s CEO at the time, Aaron, claimed that upon his request, Bitpay had decided to support the Shiba Inu. Currently, the price in India of Dogecoin and Shiba Inu is $0.12 (approximately Rs.9.14) and $0.00002308 (approximately Rs.0.001727) respectively.
