The Telangana authorities has determined to represent a standard board for centralised recruitment of educating and non-teaching posts in universities, barring medical varsities, within the State. A authorities order (GO) was issued to the impact.
According to the GO, to convey uniformity and to hold out expeditious recruitment and likewise to look at a number of points, the federal government constituted a State-level committee (to make suggestions).
The Telangana State Council of Higher Education, in its report, has beneficial to assign the method of recruitment both to the Telangana State Public Service Commission or to a separate board to be established for the aim, it added.
The State authorities accepted the advice of the committee and determined to represent the widespread board, it mentioned.
The board would comprise chairman of Telangana State Council of Higher Education, secretary to Higher Education Department, secretary of Finance Department and the Commissioner of Collegiate Education.
At current, 15 State universities are functioning in Telangana, apart from medical universities and the recruitment is being made by the schools itself with prior approval of the State authorities.
