SBI PO Recruitment 2020: For the people preparing for the government job, the country’s largest bank SBI has given a Diwali gift. Applications for the post of 2 thousand Probationary Officer (PO) in SBI have started from today. Applications can be applied for this post from 4 December next month and its examinations will be held in four days from 31 December to 5 January at centers across the country.
Selection will be done in 3 rounds
SBI will recruit 2 thousand posts through this recruitment. Out of this, 200 posts have been reserved for the candidates for Economic Vicar Section (EWS) category. To become a PO, one has to pass through three rounds, prelims, mains and final interview rounds.
Candidates should have at least a bachelor’s degree to apply for a PO position. Final year or semester students also have the chance to apply but before 31 December they have to present proof of their exams. This relief has been given because those who have exams or result pending due to Corona epidemic can apply. Applicants should be at least 21 years old and maximum of 30 years. Age will be calculated on 4 April 2020. The age limit has been relaxed for the candidates of reserved categories. The number of opportunities for applying for these posts is also fixed. General candidates can apply 4 times, candidates of EWS and OBC categories can apply 7 times. There is no such limit for SC and ST candidates.
Candidates will be asked questions of English Language, Mathematical Aptitude and Reasoning Ability in the prelims. The Sections cut off has been removed. This online exam of 100 marks will be of one hour.
According to the latest notice, the initial basic pay of SBI PO will be Rs 27620 with four advance increments. The PO will also be given benefits such as DA, CCA, HRD. Candidates will also be required to fill a two-year service bond with the bank upon selection.
