Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has introduced plans to arrange 5 mannequin faculties and a talent academy in its operation space. OMC has signed an settlement with Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan to arrange 5 ‘Mining Adarsha Vidyalayas’. The company claims to spend Rs 208 crore to arrange the Adarsha Vidyalayas in OMC mining areas and make investments Rs 30 crore yearly to run these establishments, officers stated. Naveen Patnaik, chief minister of Odisha has stated that OMC has pioneered many developmental initiatives, steering constructive modifications in enhancing the standard of lifetime of the individuals.

Patnaik additional added that OMC has achieved over 30 million tonne ore manufacturing in 2021-22 fiscal with a turnover of Rs 17,000 crore. He additionally launched two IT modules which embrace Compliance Management System and Litigation Management System.
