Ed-tech platform BYJU’S has introduced an ‘Education For All’ initiative with the launch of a particular two-years Fellowship Programme for aspirants within the social growth sector. The fellowship is a part of BYJU’S social impression initiative, ‘BYJU’S Education For All’, launched in 2020. The programme goals to empower 10 million college students from distant and underserved districts of India, with entry to high quality digital schooling by 2025.
According to the corporate, the primary cohort of this fellowship programme comprises 45 fellows shortlisted from throughout the nation with social growth expertise backgrounds, who will likely be skilled on synergies in India’s edtech and social growth sectors.
BYJU’s claims to have designed a particular 2-week coaching module for the fellows which incorporates workshops on varied developmental matters. The chosen fellows will likely be liable for managing BYJU’S social initiatives programmes in India’s aspirational districts in collaboration with the NITI Aayog, the corporate stated.
According to the ed-tech platform, as part of this programme, fellows will assist present high quality schooling to over 3,000 meritorious JEE and NEET aspirants from underserved communities throughout over 60 aspirational districts. Post completion of this two-year fellowship, high candidates will get an opportunity to work as full-time workers with BYJU’S social initiatives.
