Gujarat
Under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, it was decided to postpone the 12th examination of the state board. In a conversation with the Indian Express, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama informed that earlier the Gujarat government was preparing for these examinations and for this all children above 18 years of age were also being vaccinated. According to the Education Minister, except Delhi and Maharashtra, no other state had demanded the postponement of these examinations, so Gujarat has decided to conduct it, but now after the Central Government has postponed the CBSE board examination, the state has decided to organize it. Attitude has changed.
Maharashtra
On Wednesday, the state government decided to postpone the state board’s 12th examination. State Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad informed that the State Disaster Management Authority has been sent a proposal related to the state board examinations for class 12th students and its formal announcement will be made in a few days.
Madhya Pradesh
Describing the lives of children as precious, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has postponed the state board’s 12th examination. Chouhan announced that a group of ministers has been constituted to prepare a mechanism for the sheets to the class 12 students who will take the opinion of experts.
Goa
By tweeting on Wednesday, the Chief Minister of the state Pramod Sawant informed that after extensive deliberations, a decision has been taken to postpone the class 12 examination of the State Board. Sawant described the health and safety of children as the top priority.
Rajasthan
It was discussed in the state cabinet meeting on Wednesday that students have also been affected by the pandemic. In such a situation, the cabinet has decided to postpone the 10th and 12th examination of the state board.
Uttarakhand
A day earlier on June 2, it was announced to postpone the 12th examination of Uttarakhand School Education Board of Examination. Apart from this, it was also announced that all the students will be promoted.
West Bengal
Authorities in West Bengal canceled the press conference convened on Wednesday, June 2, to announce the Class 10 and 12 board exams. No reason given for cancellation. According to an official of the School Education Department, a committee of experts has been formed, which will see how to conduct the examinations and how the paper will be evaluated in the current situation.
Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh Board has also postponed the 12th class examination.
