After this, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai has increased to Rs 81.94, Rs 83.43, Rs 88.58 and Rs 84.91 per liter respectively.
Diesel price did not change
According to information received from IOCL, there has been no change in the price of diesel in all the four metros of the country. The people of the four metros of the country will have to pay the price of diesel on Thursday. Compared to petrol, the price of diesel has been continuously increasing since June 29. By the way, the government has also cut VAT in the price of diesel in the country’s capital Delhi. After which the price has come down by 8 rupees per liter. By the way, in the four metropolitan cities of Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai, you will have to pay up to Rs 73.56, 77.06, 80.11 and 78.86 per liter respectively.
Crude oil price rises marginally
On the other hand, crude oil prices in the international market remain limited. Brent crude’s November delivery contract on the international futures market InterContinental Exchange (ICE) was trading at just $ 45.61 a barrel, up 0.02 percent from the previous session. Whereas, American light crude was trading at $ 43.01 a barrel in the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) October delivery futures contract with a decrease of just 0.07 per cent from the previous session.
